Tap on the icon with 3 columns. Click on Power (lightning icon) and choose the applicable power plant for you. Red icons mean power will be flowing through it soon.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each.
Wind Powerplant
- Powers you 6 units
- Building price of 6000 coins
- But does not disturb your neighborhood so you can build a wind power plant near residential houses
Coal Power Plant
- Capacity is 12 units
- Building price is only 4500 coins (as compared to wind power plant which is more expensive)
- But it has a dirty radius of 10x10, you really have to build this far from the residential area, otherwise, the residents will complain
